DLLE ACTIVITIES

The students participated in UDAAN: The Flight of Extension conducted by University of Mumbai, Department of LifeLong Learning & Extension for the year 2023-24. The students presented a street play on the topic women empowerment which was appreciated by everyone. Students were also involved in various other competitions like creative writing, powada singing, elocution and poster making. Our student Afreen Shaikh bagged the 2nd prize for the Elocution competition on the topic 'Electoral Literacy' with a silver medal and certifiate.All the students were awarded participation certificates.

On January 15th 2024 A poster making competition was held for students of extension . The competition provided a platform for students to express their concerns and perspectives on pressing social issues. Through art, students demonstrated their commitment to creating positive changes , fostering a sense of responsibility towards the environment, women empowerment, eradicating child labour and other pertinent issues. The event not only showcased artistic talents of the students but also their understanding and feelings towards the problems of the society.

The DLLE unit of Sarada Kurup College of Education & Research conducted an intra collegiate song composition competition. The students creatively expressed their thoughts and penned it down in the form of poems on topics like stree Shakti, Honesty, and climate change in Hindi, Marathi and English. There was great sense of achievement and satisfaction among students as they got an opportunity to create awareness on social and moral issues in a unique manner. 

The udaan festival of Department of Life Long learning and Extension gives an opportunity to students to express their innate tendencies of creative expression and honing their skills in drama, poster making, creative writing on topics of social awareness. Our college have been awarded with prizes for their performances in the udaan festival .
