Student Council Oath Taking 2024-25

The Oath-Taking Ceremony for the elected Student Council of Sarada Kurup College of Education and Research, Ghansoli was held  on 23rd November 2024 with great enthusiasm and solemnity . The event marked a significant milestone in empowering the student body to take on leadership roles and contribute actively to the academic and co-curricular environment of the institution.

The highlight of the event was the administration of the oath. The Student Council members, pledged their commitment to their roles and responsibilities. With their right hands raised, the council members solemnly promised to work diligently, uphold the honor of the institution, and serve the student body with integrity and dedication.

Following the oath, their badges were pinned by the principal. The programme concluded with the speech of the General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary.

Student Council Election 2024-25

The Student Council Election for the academic year 2024-25 at Sarada Kurup College of Education & Research was conducted on 26th October 2024 in a democratic way. The election aimed to empower student teachers by allowing them to choose their representatives, fostering leadership, and enhancing democratic values within the institution. Nominations for various positions were opened on 16th October 2024 and closed on 21-10-2024.A total of 11 candidates were nominated for positions including Asst.General Secretary, Asst. Community Work and Outreach Co-ordinator, Asst. Cultural Coordinator, Sports & Picnic in- Charge, Asst .Sports & Picnic in- Charge, Asst. Magazine and Notice Board In-Charge, Asst. Photography In-Charge. Voting was conducted through a secret ballot system to ensure the  privacy and integrity. The Student Council Election was successfully conducted, demonstrating a high level of participation and enthusiasm among the students. The newly elected council members are expected to represent the student body effectively and contribute to the betterment of the college environment.
